The activities of WIZ are implemented in both Italy and Spain.
In Italy, the demonstration area of WIZ consisted of 10 municipalities in the lower Arno Valley, in Tuscany: Altopascio, Bientina,Buggiano, Fucecchio, Monsummano Terme,Montespertoli, Montopoli Val d’Arno, Pisa,Ponsacco, Vicopisano with a catchment pool of about 209,000 inhabitants.

During the course of the project links were established with various local authorities,in order to encourage the spread of the service to other parts of the territory.
